GLAMOROUS IN PINK

At this time of year, a pop of colour in your favourite shade may it be pink, blue, purple or anything your heart desires is so fresh.  A Chic minimalist is glamours and sophisticated in a flirty magenta pink dress.

Also never be afraid to customize an off the rack item using a tailor.  This dress was originally knee length with longer sleeves.  Here is a tip from my tailor when altering the proportions of a dress.   If you are shortening the length of a dress, please be sure to consider altering its sleeve length in order to maintain a garments proportions and shape.   Especially since no one wants to feel that they are wearing a shrunken dress!

A Chic Minimalist presents a look inside a few chic ensembles as of late.  Favourite designers this season include Dolce and Gabbana, Thierry Mugler, and Azzedine Alaia.  Vintage collector pieces of the 1990s period are oh so fresh when paired with new loves, a classic Chanel Mini-Flap and Lady Dior handbag.  Pairing both vintage and new classics, whilst utlizing a luxurious yet simple colour palette of noir and blanc creates perfect harmony.  Take a peek at my style escape perhaps it may inspire A Chic Minimalist spirit inside you!
