A Chic Minimalist is a lover of all things luxurious yet simple in design.  Balzac's Coffee Roasters is no exception, it is my favourite cafe with its bold yet classic coffee selection.  Balzac's is by far my favourite brand of coffee especially the Atwood and classic Balzac's blend.  Take a peek at the Balzac's Coffee Roasters website for a location near you!  Indeed, Balzac's brings the notion of a traditional style cafe to life. Perhaps you shall strike up a conversation about all things relating to politics, economics and of course style whilst enjoying a a finely crafted latte, coffee or delicious pastry at Balzac's soon.   You may even run into A Chic Minimalist as she is often spotted enjoying a latte in a quiet corner.

UPTOWN GIRL

A Chic Minimalist is an Uptown Girl exploring the downtown of a beautiful and charming small town. Weekends always call for a little adventure n'est pas?

It is so lovely this time of year to see all the leaves change colours in all those vibrant and rich hues of sienna, orange and deep red.  Maybe that may inspire my next ensemble du jour. Anyhow off to the cafe for a quick chic chat with friends and a latte of course.  Hope you will have a happy Sunday that is nice and relaxing mes amies!

NAUTICAL CHIC AND A CAFE LATTE

Spotted A Chic Minimalist indulging in her two addictions coffee and of course fashion!

  Perhaps I should create the tag confessions of a cafe-a-holic!  The first question could be along the lines, what do you put in your coffee? (not specifically the average Starbucks variety, but more along the lines of illy or a French press!)   Personally, the answer is simply two shots, one of honey and the other of lactose free milk and or almond milk.  Anyhow back to fashion, well being a fashion victim is more like! Enjoy a peek at my ensemble du jour that embraces all things nautical chic, in blue and white stripes and red cardigan.

A CHIC ENSEMBLE AND CHIC CHAT

Happy Friday mes amies, its hard to imagine the summer is coming to a close, yet as a new fashion season quickly approaches its exciting to see how a wardrobe will change. While in the midst of transitioning my wardrobe, I found inspiration this week at Net-a-Porter.com.  Every week I tune in with anticipation to see what exciting new arrivals this on-line luxury retailer has to offer, and voila it came to me, Valentino's collection.  It was love at first sight as my "look" for this fall, especially in terms of colour draws inspiration from the current direction of this brand.  This season, my colour palette is focused around the  rich jewel tones of emerald green and ruby red in combination with my typical minimal chic shades of black, cream, white, and brown.  J'adore ca Valentino's Autumn-Winter 2012 as it is both modern and feminine with a touch of romance and Parisian chic.

Take a peek at what Net-a-Porter has on offer in store from Valentino this season.  The collection's colour palette including a luxe ruby red hue and baby pink shade is gorgeous.

This autumn an Ivanka Trump pair of black leather T-Strap pumps when paired with a black Chanel mini flap bag make for perfect harmony.  In love with black accessories embellished with gold details, the combination is both fashion forward yet elegant.  What else can I ask for accept maybe a cafe latte...
