A Chic Minimalist is sexy, simple, and sophisticated in a strapless little white dress this past Sunday. On some occasions its best, as the weather heats up, to put away the little black dress and opt for its cooler counterpart, the little white one. To stay chic and cool this summer pair it with all white accessories as you do not want to distract from the elegance and simplicity it evokes. Indeed, sometimes less is of course more....

Ensemble Details - Ivanka Trump black pumps, Thierry Mugler strawberry hued skirt, Alaia black off- the-shoulder body top.

A chic and fresh combination of rose, vert, et noir seems just right at the moment.  Perhaps the  addition of a lovely new custom made sofa from a dear friend has inspired this fresh infusion of bright colour.  Noir and blanche is always classic, however its always good to mix things up a tad.

j'adore ca - Pencil-Cut Dresses

A Chic Minimalist is embracing figure flattering pencil dresses this season in a multitude of colours and shapes.  Being all covered up never looked so good in a pale blue long-sleeved high neck Herve Leger. Whilst a sunny yellow vintage Theirry Mugler makes a bold yet perfect statement on oh so hot days and dates of course!

 It may take a few attempts but with numerous styles available on the market this season it has never been easier to find a dress shape that flatters you in all the right places.  Dresses are of course the pinnacle when it comes to effortlessly chic summer dressing.    If you want to emphasize curves, I recommend staying away from pleats.  Instead opt for a pencil shape or a-line cut skirt to accentuate the curvature of your waist and hips.
