A CHIC COSTUME

A Chic Minimalist was spotted with a 1920s flapper at a Halloween costume party last night! 

This year my costume is Cher from Clueless. You ask why Cher? Well so I could say "Its an Alaia", of course.  We all know that I am obsessed with Mr. Azzedine Alaia the "King of Cling!" and this lovely dress is from a dear friends of mine private ALAIA collection...  I will introduce you to my dear friend soon!

A CHIC ANNIVERSAIRE

A Chic Minimalist celebrates another year with all those dear be them friends or family! 

 The greatest gift is truly time spent with all those you hold dear and love, thank you for sharing in this special day with me, and making some truly remarkable memories to last a life time!

Thanks as well to all my friends who could not be here, for all the wonderful wishes and words of encouragement as another of my life begins. 

 I am so excited for what new and exciting adventures will happen this year.  Be sure though to stay tuned for all my chic news!

Antique pearl drop earrings and diamond and emerald gold necklaces

Make-up is minimal just a little Chanel Lipstick in lilac shade, Dior rose blush, Guerlain concealer in ivory shade, and Lancome Definicls mascara in noir.

PEEK-A-BOO

A CHIC MINIMALIST IS WEARING:
Lilac Alaia dress is paired with leather and suede Prada pumps

Peek-a-boo I see you, but you cannot see me well at least till Tuesday.  Thought you might enjoy a little tease or preview of a chic ensemble for my upcoming birthday celebration this Monday.  I am heralding the return of lilac. Mint is lovely as the shade of 2012, but with its presence felt in almost every aspect of fashion of the minute, I am craving something new!

Stay tuned on Tuesday when all the ensemble is revealed, including a sneak peek at the celebration.  A favourite restaurant of mine is always so kind in hosting the event for me thanks darlings...

LUSCIOUS LASHES WITH LANCOME-PARIS

Bonjour comment ca va?

I hope you are all having a lovely week. Cannot believe how fast mine is flying bye.  A little early this week perhaps, but could not wait to share something with you all! 

My new favourite companion is Lancome-Paris' Defincils mascara in noir since it creates gorgeous luscious lashes!  Ladies if you have sensitive eyes like myself it is highly recommended.  You will surely catch the attention of someone special with the luscious lashes this mascara so effortlessly creates!

Hope you are all nice and cozy with someone special this week as the weather begins to chill.  It is my birthday Monday so busy prepring my chic ensemble for a little soire this friday, stay tuned for detials.....hint hint it "its an Alaia"

Hello darlings hope you are all having a wonderful week just a few points of interest.  First take a peek at Karl Lagerfeld's interview for Chanel Spring-Summer 2013, a casual yet chic collection.  It is quite minimal but it has all the subtle trademarks such as pearls and the jacket skirt suit, which are the hallmarks of this brand.

J'ADORE - DIOR SPRING-SUMMER 2013

A Chic Minimalist adores Paris Fashion Week of all the cities when show season is in full swing.  In particular it inspires and informs my personal style more so than any other city.  

The collection for Dior Spring-Summer 2013 is stunning, Raif Simmons is a minimalist master with a touch of elegance!  He mixes luxe fabrics and textures with basics like no other designer can, stay tuned for some Chic Minimalist fashion inspiration from this stellar collection.
